Georgiana Anstruther & Carol Corell @ Lacey Contemporary Gallery

‘Stop Making Sense‘, is a joint show with sculptor Georgiana Anstruther and abstract artist Carol Corell at Lacey Contemporary Gallery.  The title ‘Stop Making Sense’ stems from the advice Sol LeWitt gave in a letter to the young sculptor Eva Hesse when she was overthinking her work, something all artists experience. The phrase resonates in the context of Georgiana and Carol because although dramatically different, their work complements each other in a unique and refreshing way.
