Join UK Friends NMWA and host Muriel Salem for breakfast and a private view of Cranford Collection, a contemporary art collection in Regent’s Park. The house has been recently renovated by the noted architect David Chipperfield. The installations are rotated periodically and are planned with a view to explore original associations between the artworks.
There are a large number of works by women on display, including: Rachel Harrison, Rebecca Warren, Bridget Riley, Lynda Benglis, Anne Truitt, Laura Owens, Hannah Wilke, Maria Lassnig, Alice Neel, Carol Rama, Carla Accardi, Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, Rineke Dijkstra, Marisa Merz, Sue Williams, Karen Kilimnik, and Edith Dekyndt. Showcasing women artists is crucial to the mission of the Cranford Collection as our visit will readily attest.
