Joy Yamusangie @ Tiwani Contemporary

Joy Yamusangie is a visual artist, specialising in illustration. Joy experiments with a range of traditional processes such as drawing, film, painting and collaging to produce mixed media pieces.

In her show Remember Me, she presents new paintings, vignette moments and events where the sentiment ‘remember me’ might arise and be expressed in a moment of euphoria, vulnerability or sadness.  For the exhibition, the artist has put together a playlist that plays in the gallery space.
