Mabel Pryde @ The Grange, Rottingdean

Discover the life, loves and influence of Mabel Pryde Nicholson (1871-1918), a talented and versatile painter in turn-of-the-century Britain.  The exhibition traces the life and art of the painter.

The show brings together nearly 30 objects from private collections and national institutions including portraits of the artist by her husband William and poignant letters, photographs and personal objects, almost all of which have been unseen since Mabel’s death in the Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918.
