A Dream Deferred, an exhibition of hand-painted photographs and rare, vintage prints by Ming Smith. 

Smith’s multifaceted practice celebrates her communities, and brings visibility to black culture, through its exploration of the complex emotional states and environments of her subjects. Throughout her 50-year career Smith has experimented with different techniques and the exhibition brings to focus a selection of her previously unseen overpainted photographs.
